Phoenix robelenii

Medium light plant.
This is a miniature date palm and usually grows to only 2 to 3 feet tall. It has an airy, tropical delicate look, and comes with 1, 2 or 3 trunks per plant. The almost grass-like fronds surround a very thick trunk to make a completely round shape. This plant prefers higher humidity and good fresh air circulation.  Slow-growing, sturdy, takes abuse and neglect better than most.

This is one of the best palms for removing indoor air pollutants,
especially xylene.
