Low-light plant. This is the number one plant for low light situations. Its large graceful leaves resemble corn leaves a little, but have yellow center stripes. (The plain "Fragrans" has a solid green leaf.)
Multiple shoots can develop from one cane. In direct sunlight the leaves would turn brown. Its roots take up very little space. The trunks and lime green colorations really make this plant a standout among other foliage plants.
A very effective plant in the removal of indoor air toxins such as formaldehyde.
