In 1984,
First Lady Barbara Bush presented Plantscape president Carole Horowitz
with a coveted National Landscape Award at the White House.
The award
was for Plantscape's installation of the
gardens in the magnificent indoor atrium at
Mine Safety Appliances corporate headquarters building in O'Hara Township,
Pittsburgh, PA.

Plantscape officers Steve Falatovich and Tom Horowitz accepted awards at the November 2003 ALCA Conference in St. Louis. Plantscape received three major Environmental Improvement Awards, which were proudly added to the 47 previous awards we've won since our company began in 1973. The 2500 member Associated Landscape Contractors of America which is now called PLANET, is the nation's largest landscape contractor organization. |
