Schleffera Amate Low to Medium Light Plant. A man-made hybrid, this is a new and improved version of the Schefflera or Umbrella Tree. This has leaves which are broader, longer, thicker and darker green, and it is more resistant to pests. The growth of the ‘Amate’ is upright, symmetrical and uniform and keeps its shape better by not losing its lower leaves. Not all Scheffs are the "Amate".
