Zamioculcas zamiifolia

Low-to-medium light plant.
A newer plant in interiorscapes, it is a hardy plant that needs very little light and very little water. Its dark thick glossy leaves almost look as if they had been shined. Such a unique plant can stand alone or be used in larger plantings. An underground tuber stores water so it can go for months with no water at all. The leaves and fleshy stems hold water as well. Very pest-resistant.
