National Landscape Award
First Lady Barbara Bush presented Plantscape president Carole Horowitz with this coveted award at the White House, given for Plantscape’s installation of the gardens in the magnificent indoor atrium at Mine Safety Appliances headquarters in O’Hara Township, Pittsburgh, PA.
1988
Entrepreneur of the Year
Plantscape’s Carole Horowitz was awarded the Arthur Young award for Entrepreneur of the Year.
2002
The Prestigious Decade Award
Presented by ALCA (Associated Landscape Contractors of America), for our 10 years of continuing work on the landscaping at the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel in Coraopolis.
2003
Environmental Improvement Awards
Plantscape officers Steve Falatovich and Tom Horowitz accepted three major Environmental Improvement Awards at the November 2003 ALCA Conference in St. Louis. The 2500 member Associated Landscape Contractors of America (now NALP), is the nation’s largest landscape contractor organization. The awards were for Plantscape's work at the Pittsburgh Zoo Aquarium, Embassy Suites Hotel, and Washington’s Landing.

Interiorscape Hall of Fame
Plantscape founders Carole and Don Horowitz were inducted into The Interiorscape Hall of Fame which is dedicated to those individuals who have given unselfishly of their time, effort and talents in the development of the Interiorscape Industry.
